Logo Program for Devices

 Program Overview 

VeriTest is pleased to be an authorized test center for devices seeking the "Works With Microsoft HealthVault" logo. This program helps consumers identify products which have been tested for compatibility with HealthVault, and helps manufacturers differentiate their products.

 Manufacturers who certify their devices can benefit by: 

• Leveraging the trusted Microsoft brand
• Minimizing their support costs by passing tests specifically designed for HealthVault Connection Center compatibility
• Listing their devices and drivers in the HealthVault Device Directory and the HealthVault Connection Center driver list
• Becoming eligible for joint marketing opportunities

 Here are the simple steps to achieving HealthVault Certification: 

1.  Complete the Agreements. Begin by sending an email to hvlogo@microsoft.com to obtain copies of the "Healthvault Solution Provider Agreement" and the "HealthVault Logo License Agreement." Sign and return these to Microsoft.
2.  Develop a HealthVault compatible driver for your device.  Learn how your device may fit into the HealthVault ecosystem Download the HealthVault Device Driver Development Kit (DDK) to learn more about how to develop a HealthVault-enabled driver for your device  
3.  Read the requirements and do some self-testing.
   • Start by downloading the Microsoft HealthVault Test Kit to read all the requirements and do some self-testing before you submit to VeriTest.
   • Make sure you are using the Works With Microsoft HealthVault Device Logo Program 1.20 requirements.
    
4.  Submit your driver to WHQL. Prior to certification the device driver must pass basic Windows Hardware Quality Lab testing. During this process, you may wish to contact VeriTest per Step 5, below, but you will want to obtain WHQL results before submission for HealthVault certification. If you driver has not passed WHQL, VeriTest cannot give you a certification ID.
5.  Submit your product to VeriTest.
   • Send us an email at healthvaultcert@lionbridge.com describing your device. We will reply with pricing, a timeline, and further instructions.
